LUCKNOW, Sept. 18 -- Five Lucknow University (LU) students suspended for allegedly misbehaving with minor girls and others appeared before the university's Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to record their statements, an official said. "Five boys were called to record their statements. We hope that the media will not escalate the issue in the larger interest of the students," said Anchal Srivastava of ICC while talking to HT over phone. Chief proctor Rakesh Dwivedi said, "The five students were called to appear before the ICC after the university vice-chancellor gave his consent, following which the agitation on campus was called off yesterday.
