JHANSI, July 18 -- Around 46 students fell ill after having lunch at Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya, a residential government school offering education from Classes 6 to 12, in Lalitpur district on Thursday, officials said. After the students complained of nausea, vomiting and stomach cramps, school authorities immediately alerted the primary health centre following which doctors rushed to the school. Later, they were shifted to Lalitpur Medical College. State minister Manohar Lal Panth and senior officials, including Lalitpur DM Satya Prakash reached the medical college to enquire about the students' health. "All the students are stable but are still kept under observation. Samples of both cooked and raw food materials have been collected and sent for lab testing.
