AGRA, Aug. 8 -- Four people were arrested, produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody on Friday for allegedly running an illicit business under the guise of cafes at a prominent market plaza in Agra's Sadar police station area. During a police raid on Wednesday evening, around 20 boys and girls were found at the premises. Police also sealed seven cafes allegedly found to be involved in immoral activities. Acting on information about alleged immoral activities being carried out under the guise of cafes at Nand Plaza in Agra's Sadar Bazar area, police conducted a raid on Wednesday evening. Around two dozen people, including boys and girls, were taken into custody for questioning from seven cafes operating in the market complex, deputy commissioner of police (DCP), Agra City, Syed Ali Abbas, said after the raid. "Objectionable material was recovered from the private cabins of these cafes, and suspicious activities indicating immoral conduct were found during the raid. Police are maintaining strict vigil across the city, and any cafe, hotel or other establishment found involved in such activities will face similar action," DCP (City) Syed Ali Abbas said. On Friday, a case was registered at Sadar police station under Sections 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. Four accused - Pushpendra Singh, Shoib, Anuj Sharma and Bhupendra Kumar Diwakar - were arrested, while efforts were underway to trace the absconding accused, identified as Narendra Singh, Ravindra and Saurabh Yadav, police said....
