Lucknow, Oct. 14 -- A GRP drive to trace mobile phones reported lost by their owners led to the recovery of 312 devices from locations across several states and districts of Uttar Pradesh. The phones, worth an estimated Rs.60 lakh, were returned to their owners in Lucknow on Tuesday. The exercise began after complaints about lost phones were submitted during public hearings, according to the Government Railway Police (GRP), Lucknow section. Surveillance personnel and teams constituted at police stations were tasked with tracing the devices.
