Barmer/Balotra, May 18 -- Three members of a family from Gujarat were killed and three others, including a child, were seriously injured when their Scorpio SUV overturned on the Bharatmala Expressway near Asotra in Rajasthan's Balotra district on Sunday afternoon, police said. According to police, the accident occurred around 12 noon in the Jasol police station area. The vehicle was travelling at a high speed when the driver lost control, causing the SUV to overturn multiple times, a police officer said, adding that the impact was so severe that the vehicle was badly mangled and the occupants were thrown onto the roadside.
