VARANASI, June 8 -- Three members of a family were killed and two others sustained injuries after a passenger bus hit their motorcycle near the Sharifpur underpass in the Saidpur area of Ghazipur district on Sunday, police said. The deceased were identified as Kajal Giri, 23, her four-month-old son Sajal, and her sister-in-law Ritu Devi, 25. Kajal's husband, Prateek Giri, and their one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Shreya sustained critical injuries. According to police, the family, residents of Shahpur village in Mirzapur district, had travelled to Azamgarh and were returning home on a motorcycle. At around 11 am, when they reached the Sharifpur underpass, a speeding bus approaching from behind rammed into the motorcycle. Police said the bus driver tried to flee after the accident....
