Dehradun, Oct. 20 -- Three police personnel were injured after being hit by a vehicle during a routine checking at Araghar T-junction in the early hours of Sunday, police said. Police said the driver, identified as Mohammad Umar alias Tahir (36), a resident of EC Road, Dalanwala, Dehradun, was arrested following the accident. The incident took place around 3.45 am when Head Constable Suganpal, Constable Sachin and Constable Kamla Prasad, who were on picket duty at Araghar T-junction, signalled a vehicle to stop for checking.
