Jaipur, Sept. 22 -- The second accused who escaped from the Jaipur Central Jail by scaling a 27-feet wall on Saturday was arrested by the Jaipur police on Sunday morning while another was already held on Saturday afternoon, police said. Gandhinagar ACP, Narayan Bajiya, said, "We arrested Anas Khan on Saturday afternoon from the Malpura Gate area while the second accused, Nawal Kishor Mahawar from a different place in the same area. Nawal was traced when he came out of his hideout to have smack. We arrested him and further investigation is underway." Police also said that both Anas and Nawal sustained injuries on their heads while scaling the high wall of the central jail. "They are undergoing treatment at the Sawai Man Singh Hospital," said Bajiya. According to the officials, the incident happened at around 3 am on Saturday. "Prima facie, the two had been hatching the plan to break the jail for the last four days. On Saturday, when all the prisoners were sleeping, they came out of their barrack, entered the jail premises, broke open the ventilator grills of the washroom, rode on a pipeline, and scaled the wall to flee the prison," said Bajiya. Later, Anas also stole a two-wheeler near the SMS Hospital on which the two reached near Haldighati and parted ways. "Anas was convicted in various cases five times earlier. Recently he reached the jail for a theft case on September 17 while Nawal arrived in the jail for the first time on September 15," Bajiya stated. Following the development, the prison department also suspended 11 officials including a deputy jailor Ramcharan Meena, main guard Rekha Lakhera, in-charge Dharmveer, five wardens along with three RAC jawans....
