PRAYAGRAJ, April 10 -- A car traveling from Kolkata to Delhi lost control and crashed into a divider on a flyover, resulting in the death of two women and leaving two others seriously injured in the Hathigwan area of Pratapgarh district on Thursday. According to the police, the victims, all family members, were traveling in a car from Kolkata to Delhi. The vehicle was being driven by Ashish Chakravarty, a resident of Kundan Colony in the Ballabhgarh police station area of Faridabad, Haryana. The accident took place at around 11.15 am when the car reached the Jahanabad flyover on the Gujri four-lane highway under Hathigwan police station limits. The vehicle suddenly went out of control and rammed into the divider, causing severe injuries to all occupants. The incident led to chaos on the highway for some time.
