Bhopal, March 31 -- Two minors have been detained for allegedly gang-raping an 11-year-old girl in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district, while three other men - two who guarded the crime scene and another who filmed the incident - were arrested, police said on Monday. A case has been registered against all five accused under Section 70(2) (gang rape of a minor) and relevant provisions of the Pocso Act, the SC/ST Act, and the IT Act. Police said the minors were sent to a correctional home on Monday, and the three accused - Bhanwar Singh (75), Nathu Swaroop (57), and Rahul Kumar (22) - were later remanded to jail by the court. Ujjain superintendent of police Pradeep Sharma said that the minors, aged 15-16, lured the girl to Singh's house on Saturday. "They raped the girl inside the house while Singh and Swaroop stood guard. Kumar recorded a video of the assault. The accused later threatened the girl with dire consequences if she revealed the incident," said Sharma. On Sunday, the survivor shared her ordeal with her family, who informed the police.
