Haldwani, Oct. 31 -- Two minors were apprehended in connection with the daylight robbery case of an elderly man near the inspector general's residence in Haldwani, a police officer familiar with the matter said on Thursday, adding that the stolen mobile phone along with part of the looted cash has been recovered from their possession. According to CO Nitin Lohani, the robbery took place on the afternoon of October 29 when two unidentified youths snatched a mobile phone and Rs.5,000 in cash from Bhagwan Singh Nagdali, a resident of Nishant Vihar, in front of the IG's residence located behind the police station. htc...
