alwar, June 2 -- Two motorcycle riders were electrocuted and charred to death after an 11 kV overhead power line snapped and fell onto a road in Alwar district on Monday evening, police said. The incident occurred on the Dhiroda-Darogala road under the Tahla police station area. According to police, the high-voltage electricity line suddenly broke and fell onto the roadway just as two men were passing through on a motorcycle. The live wire came into direct contact with the bike and its riders, subjecting them to a massive electric shock. The two men suffered extensive burns and died on the spot before any help could reach them. Their motorcycle was completely reduced to ashes, police said.
