GORAKHPUR, May 30 -- Eighteen MBBS students of Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College in Gorakhpur have been suspended for one month and fined Rs.25,000 each after being found guilty in a ragging case involving junior students, college officials said on Friday. The action was taken following an inquiry conducted by the institution's Anti-Ragging Committee after first-year MBBS students lodged a complaint alleging harassment by senior students inside Rajendra Hostel between May 12 and 14, 2026.
