Lucknow, Aug. 27 -- The state secondary education department has selected 15 secondary school teachers for the State Teacher Award, including three recipients of the chief minister Teacher Award, in recognition of their exemplary work. These educators will be honoured on September 5, on the occasion of Teachers' Day. Of the 15 selected teachers, three are from Varanasi. The three awardees selected for the Chief Minister Teacher Award are: Ram Prakash Gupta, principal, Saraswati Vidya Mandir College, Hamirpur, Chhaya Khare, science teacher, Arya Mahila Inter College, Varanasi, and Komal Tyagi, commerce teacher, Maharshi Dayanand Vidyapeeth, Ghaziabad.
