Lucknow, July 28 -- As many as 130 students will be conferred 156 medals during the 13th convocation of the Dr Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University (DSMNRU) scheduled for July 31. Among these, 77 girl students will bag 91 medals and 53 male students will be awarded 65 medals. A medal list was issued by the controller of examination Amit Kumar Rai on Monday. According to the final medal list released by the university, the tally includes 76 gold, 40 silver and 40 bronze medals, said university spokesperson Prof Yashwant Virodai. Of the 76 gold medals, 33 girl students will receive 41 gold medals and 26 boys will receive 35 gold medals. For silver, 23 girl students will be awarded 24 and 13 boys will receive medals. Also, 23 girls will receive 26 bronze medals and 14 boys will receive 14 bronze medals. A total of 37 students will be honoured with bronze medals. This year, 27 differently-abled students, including 13 girls and 14 boys, have won a total of 45 medals. The university will confer degrees on a total of 1,919 students during the convocation.
