Prayagraj, Sept. 15 -- A 13-year-old boy drowned in a pond on Mon- day afternoon while harv- esting Karemua, an aquatic vegetable, near Sangrampur Fort. The victim was identified as Alok Verma, 13, of Narharpur village under the Kohandaur police station area in Pratapgarh. According to family members, Alok had gone to the pond with his friend Shivam, 10, to collect the greens when he ventured into deep water and drowned. Shivam alerted nearby villagers, who pulled Alok out and rushed him to a medical college, where doctors declared him dead. Police reached the medical college and sent the body for post-mortem examination....
