Lucknow, Sept. 20 -- As many as 121 Armed Forces Medical Services officers, including 33 women officers, completed their seven-week Medical Officers Basic Course at the Officers Training College, Army Medical Corps Centre and College, Lucknow, on Saturday. The course ran from August 3 to September 19. It focused on combat medical support, trauma care and emerging technologies relevant to modern warfare. The officers also underwent the Advanced Trauma Life Support provider course. Officers from all three services took part in the medical officers' basic course. Lt Gen J Debnath, Commandant, AMC Centre and College and OIC Records, reviewed the course-ending parade. Capt Saurabh Singh Yadav was adjudged the Best All Round Officer and received the Commandant's Rolling Trophy. Capt Akash G was adjudged the Best Officer in Field Events and received the Major Laishram Jyotin Singh, Ashok Chakra Memorial Trophy. More than 200 parents and relatives attended the parade....
