LUCKNOW, Nov. 4 -- Alleging that an attempt was being made to tamper with the Old Pension Scheme (OPS), All India State Government Employees Federation chief Subhash Lamba on Tuesday said any move to undermine employees' pension rights under the pretext of the economic situation will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Addressing a press conference, he said the federation will organise a "Rashtriya Aakrosh" rally on the issue at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on December 12. Lamba was in Lucknow to attend a meeting of the state committee of the Forest Ministerial Association, UP. Uttar Pradesh State Employees Federation president Kamal Agarwal said thousands of employees from Uttar Pradesh are set to participate in the rally.
