PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 18 -- A series of programmes, including blood donation camps, the lighting of 'Aashirwad ka Diya' and a development exhibition, were organised in Prayagraj on Thursday to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 76th birthday and the launch of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan'. Cabinet ministers Swatantra Dev Singh and Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, MLA Siddharth Nath Singh, BJP city unit president Sanjay Gupta, state vice-president Dr Kirtika Agarwal, former mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi and MLA Harshvardhan Bajpai participated in programmes at different locations. 'Aashirwad ka Diya' was lit at several prominent places, including Balson crossing, Bharadwaj Ashram, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Koteshwar Mahadev temple, the Ahilyabai Holkar statue site and Kalash Chauraha. A blood donation camp was also inaugurated at Vinayak Mall PVR. Nandi separately inaugurated another camp at Bailey Hospital....
