Agra, July 26 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday targeted the Samajwadi Party and its leadership by alleging that "Saifai syndicate" used to "loot" the resources meant for the state's development. Addressing a public meeting at Tata ground in Agra, he said, "For development, communication is needed and when issues raised by elected representatives are heard in Lucknow and Delhi, development comes. This communication was missing prior to 2017." "The Saifai syndicate (Saifai is the ancestral village of SP president Akhilesh Yadav) and before them Congress committed loot of resources meant for masses. They took away jobs of youth, well being of farmers; mafia came up in every district," he alleged. Listing various projects announced for Agra, Adityanath stated that it is the mindset which matters. "It was Maratha ruler Shivaji who exhibited valour here in Agra, but the Samajwadi Party regime named the museum after invaders and called it Mughal Museum.
