'Resolve complaints swiftly, act tough against land grabbers'
GORAKHPUR, Aug. 30 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday directed officials to address public grievances with sensitivity and urgency and ordered strict action against land mafiosi and influential persons involved in illegal encroachment.
The CM listened to the grievances of around 200 people from different districts during the Janata Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple on Saturday morning. He directed officials to ensure the speedy and satisfactory resolution of their complaints.
"Without discrimination, the government is committed to resolving the problems of every person," Yogi said, stressing that officials must ensure that the eligible receive the benefits of government welfare schemes.
During the interaction, the CM personally went to meet people seated outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan and heard their concerns. Several people also approached the CM seeking financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses. Assuring them of government support, he said that no person will be allowed to discontinue treatment due to a lack of funds.
He directed officials to promptly prepare estimates for the advanced treatment of needy patients and submit them to the government. htc...
