LUCKNOW, July 12 -- Multiple layers of human emotions came to life in the theatrical programme Rachnadrishya comprising two plays, 'Thes' and 'Aparichit', at the International Buddhist Research Institute on Saturday. Bharatiyam and Shivanjana Entertainments organised the event. Produced by Rajiv Ranjan Singh and written by Ashutosh Shukla, both plays were directed by noted theatre personality Gopal Sinha. The first presentation, Thes, is a poignant story of sacrifice, love, and self-respect that expresses the deep emotions of Indian family life. The play captured the inner psyche of a woman who prioritizes the well-being of her loved ones. The second presentation, Aparichit, rewritten by Radheshyam Soni, deals with complex questions involving modern science, family values and human sensibility following the arrival of an unexpected visitor in an ordinary family, requiring answers to be sought not only through logic but also from the heart. The play forced the audience to ponder whether the true foundation of relationships is built on blood or on love, trust, and values.
