LUCKNOW, Aug. 28 -- Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Rai on Thursday said he has written to chief minister Yogi Adityanath over the latter's recent attack regarding an alleged fish feast held during a welcome programme for Rai in Ayodhya, claiming that he is a vegetarian and has never bowed before any mafia. "You are the chief minister and you accused me of enjoying a fish feast after visiting Ayodhya and bowing before mafia. I am a vegetarian, and the event I was attending was at the invitation of the Nishad community. The organisers hosted a feast for their community. It was their constitutional right to choose what they ate. "I challenged you to bring photographs or videos of my eating fish to the public and I will quit politics, but I have received none," Rai said in his letter shared with the media.
