'Har Ghar Tiranga to reach all U.P. Madrasas'
Lucknow, Aug. 11 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to extend the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign to all madrasas in the state. Minister of state for minority welfare, Muslim Waqf and Haj, Danish Azad Ansari, has directed the principal secretary of the minority welfare department to issue necessary guidelines for the purpose.
Speaking in Lucknow on Monday, Ansari said the campaign, launched at the call of PM Narendra Modi and implemented under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, is not merely a ceremonial event. "It is a mass movement aimed at strengthening the spirit of respect, pride, unity and integrity towards the nation," he said.
The minister instructed that students and youth studying in madrasas across Uttar Pradesh should actively participate in the campaign. He suggested organising programmes that include hoisting of the national flag, singing of the national anthem and awareness sessions about the freedom struggle. Ansari emphasised that the initiative would help instil a stronger sense of patriotism and national unity among madrasa students....
