Lucknow, Oct. 3 -- Newly appointed Mandi Parishad director Jitendra Pratap Singh on Friday directed mandi secretaries to give top priority to farmers' convenience and ensure transparent and accountable functioning of mandis. Speaking at an event marking the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri here, Singh said special training would be provided to the new mandi secretaries to improve their efficiency.
