India, Oct. 2 -- Actor Mannara Chopra may have built her career in Mumbai, but when it comes to festivals, her fondest memories are firmly rooted in Delhi. The 34-year-old, who rose to popularity with Bigg Boss 17, says visiting Ramlila with her father was an annual highlight while growing up in the Capital. "If you stay in India, it's all about celebrating with family, friends and the people you meet in pandals and stalls," she shares, adding, "My father would take me, my sister, and my cousins to Ramlila every year. On the way back, we would buy dhanush-baan, swords and every toy possible from the stalls. It is a core memory." The actor lost her father, Raman Rai Handa, earlier this year. But the community engagement during the festive time keeps her spirits cheery: "I love how people interact, even if they don't know each other. This vibrance is something we must pass on to the next generation." Pointing out Delhi's festive spirit, Chopra notes that the number of local fairs has only grown. "This year, there are over 100 melas in the city. They give employment, add to our value system and keep the joy alive till Diwali. It's beautiful to see the entire city lit up," she muses....
