Lucknow, Nov. 3 -- Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati is unlikely to help the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Bihar elections, said Udit Raj, former MP and national chairman of DOMA Parisangh (Dalit, OBC, Minority, and Aboriginal/Adhivasi Organizations Federation), addressing the media on Sunday. "Mayawati has 'Ambedkar on her tongue, Lotus in her heart' The purpose of October 9 rally on death anniversary of Kanshi Ram was Bihar and the impact too came as she got people seeking ticket.. She aided BJP in Uttar Pradesh, but this strategy won't work in Bihar," he said. Raj criticised her for selective focus, noting, "I am surprised because never on death anniversary any rally was held. It became clear when question was asked from opposition and not from BJP on death of Y Puran Kumar in Haryana, Hariom Valmiki in Uttar Pradesh and the incident with the Chief Justice of India," said Udit Raj, National Chairman of Unorganized Workers & Employees Congress. He also commented on BSP's outreach to Muslims: "Mayawati says Muslims should join BSP, but with people like Sharjeel Imam and Umar Khalid in jail without trial, those Muslims with the BSP should also leave the party." Raj announced a planned rally in Delhi on November 30 or December 7 to highlight issues Bahujan Samaj Party ignored, including the cases of Hariom Valmiki and Y Puran Kumar. He added that while the UP government plans a corporation for contractual jobs despite 11 lakh vacancies in regular appointments, Mayawati has remained silent, and his team intends to raise these questions with the BJP in Delhi....
