Dharamshala, Sept. 14 -- Two pilgrims from Pathankot were killed after their motorcycle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Chamba district, police said on Sunday. The accident took place around 7 pm on Saturday on the Pathankot-Bharmour national highway when the two were on their way to the ongoing Manimahesh Yatra. The deceased were identified as Jyoti Prakash, 22, and Anil Kumar, 32, both residents of Pathankot. The mishap occurred near the Hanuman temple, where the rider apparently lost control of the motorcycle. The vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into the gorge, killing both on the spot. Personnel from the Gehra police post, along with residents, reached the spot. The bodies were retrieved and taken to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College, Chamba. Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident....
