Shimla, Oct. 6 -- Leader of Opposition in Himachal and former chief minister Jai Ram Thakur on Monday accused the Congress government undermining employment and investment prospects in the industrial sector. Thakur, while addressing a gathering in Baddi, said, "The government is depriving the state of the benefits that industries bring. Due to this government-fuelled chaos, industries are migrating out of the state, thereby eliminating potential economic gains and employment opportunities." He alleged that the government was demoralising the industrial sector by imposing a barrage of taxes. "Under the guise of "Vyavastha Parivartan" (systemic transformation) a visionless administration is acting solely to benefit friends and associates," Thakur alleged. BJP state president Rajiv Bindal announced that the 'Seva Jyoti Yatra' would be held across the state on October 7 as part of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' being conducted from September 17 to October 17. Senior party leaders will attend events in various districts. Bindal stated that he would attend events in Nahan, while MP Kangana Ranaut and Jai Ram Thakur will attend the event in Dhalpur, Kullu....
