Sukhu inaugurates Rs.7.5 crore power sub-station in Sujanpur
Shimla, July 8 -- Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday virtually inaugurated the newly built power sub-station at Patlander (Ansla) in the Sujanpur assembly constituency of Hamirpur district.
The 33/11 kV power substation was completed at a cost of Rs.7.54 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that around 7.2 kilometres of 33 kV HTSC transmission line has been laid from Chabutra to Ansla under this project which would provide the sub-station with a strong and reliable electricity supply.
The new sub-station will ensure better quality and uninterrupted power for around 14,000 people living in 16 gram Panchayats, including Patlander, Rangar, Chauri, Ansla, Bhagol, Chamiyana, Duhak, Saud, Bhatera, Panoh, Dhail, Jiar Kasiri, Peepal, Tikkaru, Sapahal and the surrounding areas.
Chief minister virtually inaugurated the new office of chairman of the HP State Commission for Backward Classes at Dharamsala, that was recently shifted from Shimla.
Speaking on the occasion, Sukhu said that the large population belongs to OBC in Kangra and adjoining districts. He added shifting the Commission's office to Dharamsala would spare people the inconvenience of travelling to Shimla and ensure quicker and more accessible services.htc...
