Srinagar, July 6 -- Cordon and searches by security forces continued for the second day in Chanapora area of Shopian in south Kashmir to trace out the terrorists believed to be in the area. "The search operation is still going on looking for the terrorists in the area," a police official said on Sunday evening. A joint team of police, army and CRPF had started the operation on Saturday after inputs about the presence of two local terrorists there. Some gun shots were also fired in the area after the security forces had laid the cordon. As the night fell, the forces rushed additional reinforcements to trace out them, who were believed to be hiding in an orchard area. Flood lights were also installed by the forces during the night to prevent escape of terrorists taking advantage of the darkness. "So far there are no reports of any casualties on any side," the official said....
