Dharamshala, Oct. 11 -- Days after a 2019-batch Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (HPAS) officer, who was booked for allegedly raping a woman on the pretext of marriage, was granted interim bail by the Himachal Pradesh high court, the state government has issued an order directing him to report to the department of personnel at the HP Secretariat, Shimla, for further posting orders. The officer was granted interim bail after the victim informed the court that "as part of a compromise, they will get married." He was posted in Una district.
