Shimla, April 22 -- The historic Rashtrapati Niwas in Mashobra has officially suspended all public access and guided tours with immediate effect. The gates will remain closed to the public until May 2, 2026. This temporary closure is mandated by the arrival of President Droupadi Murmu, who is scheduled to occupy The Retreat-the President's official summer residence-from April 27 through the first week ofMay.
