Dharamshala, Oct. 24 -- Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while presiding over a meeting to review the tourism projects in the state on Thursday, issued directions for preparation of an online portal for registration of home stay units within 10 days. Officials were asked to float tenders for hiring software firms for preparation of user friendly online portals across all departments. The CM said it should be ensured that payments in all the hotels of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, General Administration Department's guesthouses and rest houses of various departments, including food bills payments, be made online. He issued directions for empanelling professional architects both for preparation of project designs for ADB and Tourism Development Board projects. The related advertisement has to be issued within 10 days, according to the order. "I want to ensure that there should be no administrative limitations as far as the promotion of the tourism industry is concerned.
