Omar meets flood-hit families in Kishtwar
Jammu, Aug. 17 -- J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday met the families affected by the flash flood due to a cloudburst in Chasoti village of Kishtwar district.
Abdullah also reviewed the ongoing relief and rescue operations and received a detailed briefing from Army personnel. The families of those who lost lives in the calamity would receive Rs.2 lakh each, while those who sustained severe injuries would be given Rs.1 lakh and those with minor injuries Rs.50,000, Abdullah said.
