Srinagar, June 18 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday said that it had attached two plots in Baramulla district in connection with a Pakistan-backed terror conspiracy case under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), officials said. The plots - 7.5 marlas and 6 marlas in Kanispora - belong to Shaheen Ahmad Lone, an accused in a case registered by the NIA in 2020 for allegedly smuggling arms, ammunition and explosives from Pakistan through the Line of Control. "The weapons and explosives were further supplied to terrorists of the banned HM and Lashkar-e-Toiba terror organisations for unleashing terror activities in the Kashmir valley," the NIA spokesman said.
