NC takes dig at J&K BJP as no leader in new national team
Srinagar, Aug. 18 -- As the BJP on Monday announced its new team of central office-bearers, the ruling National Conference mocked at the J&K unit of the party, saying not a single leader from the Union Territory found a place in the list.
The BJP announced the new team of office-bearers on Monday.
NC chief spokesperson and legislator Tanvir Sadiq took a swipe at the local BJP leadership, saying their "appraisal" is still pending.
"BJP's new list of office-bearers has almost every state represented. J&K leaders, however, are nowhere to be seen. He further said that the BJP leaders held a protest in Jammu on Monday against the Jammu and Kashmir government.
"Aaj protest bhi kiya. Keep trying, boys. Maybe next list," he added....
