Jammu, Sept. 9 -- The DIG of Udhampur-Reasi range, Shiv Kumar Sharma, on Tuesday, flagged off the Kailash Kund Yatra from Dudu in Udhampur district. Before flagging off the yatra, the DIG interacted with the pilgrims and other commuters. He also took stock of the arrangements, which have been put in place for their safety and convenience. Sharma later visited Gharkatiyas police post, where he reviewed the security arrangements along the Yatra track. He assessed the deployment and preparedness of police personnel and stressed the need for heightened vigilance and effective coordination to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the yatra.
