Srinagar, July 3 -- Jammu and Kashmir is expected to get a major boost to health and diagnostic services as the central government approved allocation of 288 diagnostic devices including AI based X-Ray machines, MRI and mammography units. Officials said that J&K will receive 275 AI-enabled handheld X-Ray machines, 9 MRI units and 4 mammography units under Prime Minister's Fund. "The Government of India has allocated 275 AI-enabled portable handheld X-Ray Machines, 9 MRI (1.5 Tesla) units and 4 digital mammography inits to the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir under the Prime Minister's Fund, providing a significant boost to the diagnostic healthcare infrastructure in the UT," a government spokesperson said. htc...
