J&K high court Bar assn bids farewell to outgoing chief justice Palli
Jammu, May 30 -- The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association on Friday accorded a warm farewell to the chief justice of J&K and Ladakh high court Arun Palli on his elevation as the judge of the Supreme Court.
The function started with the presentation of memento and shawl to honour the chief justice by the team of office-bearers led by president K Nirmal Kotwal.
All the judges present in the Jammu wing of the high court, including justices Sanjeev Kumar, Sindhu Sharma, Rahul Bharti, Sanjay Dhar, Akram Chowdhary, Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, Rajesh Sekhri, Shahzad Azeem, were also welcomed by the association. The outgoing chief justice, Arun Palli, also laid the foundation stone of a new Bar hall complex for the young and female members of the Bar. He inaugurated a creche facility in the court complex, which was a long-pending demand of the Bar association, besides dedicating a hall for the clerks of the advocates at the HC complex. htc...
