New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- Congress MP and AICC general secretary in-charge of J&K, Syed Naseer Hussain, strongly condemned the reported attack on a party's convoy in Assam, calling it as a "murderous" and "cowardly" attempt to undermine the democratic process. The incident occurred on September 21in the Samaguri area of Nagaon district, ahead of the October 6 Lok Sabha by-election. The convoy, carrying senior leaders, including former Chhattisgarh CM and ex-Punjab in-charge Bhupesh Baghel, Assam Congress chief Gaurav Gogoi, and party candidate Sibamoni Bora, was allegedly targeted with stones and bottles by masked individuals. htc...
