Shimla, Sept. 19 -- Leader of Opposition (LoP) and former Himachal chief minister, Jai Ram Thakur, lashed out at the state government, saying the fiscal mismanagement of the government has broken all records of borrowing. Thakur said, "A loan of only Rs.19,600 crore was taken during his (Jai Ram) entire tenure (as CM) fueling continuous development, whereas the Sukhu government has borrowed Rs.50,000 crore in just three and a half years, pushing the state's total debt from Rs.69,600 crore to Rs.1.20 lakh crore.
