Srinagar, July 15 -- The temperatures are expected to get hot and humid for the next three days with meteorological (MeT) centre predicting rains over the weekend in Jammu and Kashmir. The MeT said that J&K will witness mostly dry weather conditions till Friday. "Generally hot and humid weather with brief spell of rain and thundershower at scattered places from July 14-17," a weather update by MeT said. It said that July 18 and 19 will be partly to generally cloudy with a spell of light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many places with brief intense heavy showers at isolated places of Jammu Division. Similarly July 20-21 will witness few spells of light to moderate rain and thundershower at most places with heavy rain at isolated places of Kashmir as well as Jammu divisions. "There is a possibility of heavy rainfall or brief intense heavy showers during 18th late night and 19th morning while also on 20-22 July at few places," the update said. The MeT cautioned of possibility of flashfloods, landslides and mudslides at few vulnerable places of Chenab Valley, PirPanjal Range & few hilly areas of Kashmir from July 20-22....
