Srinagar, April 14 -- A special judge, Anti-Corruption court, Srinagar, on Monday sentenced a former patwari to one year imprisonment in a graft case. In addition, the court also imposed a fine of Rs.10,000 on the convict. The accused, Ghulam Qadir Bhat (then Patwari Halqa Khushipora Zainkot, was booked under Section 5(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2006 . "In the said case, the accused, Ghulam Qadir Bhat (then Patwari Halqa Khushipora Zainkot), of Narparistan Fateh Kadal, Srinagar, has been sentenced to one year of imprisonment along with a fine of Rs.10,000.
