Farooq, Lone condemn Pak mosque blast
Srinagar, Feb. 9 -- National Conference president Farooq Abdullah and People's Conference leader Sajad Lone on Sunday expressed their sadness and condemned the suicide bomb blast in a mosque in Pakistan.
"It is unfortunate that now even the Places of God are targeted with bombs. It shows how far away we are from Allah. And we are walking towards a destination which leads to hell. I regret this incident," Abdullah told reporters in Pampore.
A blast ripped through a Shia religious centre on the outskirts of Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, on Friday, killing at least 31 and injuring over 150 others.
People's Conference president Sajad Lone also expressed his outrage. "Deeply saddened and outraged by the killing of Shias at Imambargah Khadijat-ul-Kubra, Pakistan, while they were offering Salah. Innocent worshippers targeted by blind hatred," he said on X. htc...
