Shimla, July 17 -- A day after BJP constituted a panel to start mass movement to highlight "failures" of Congress government in state, the Congress has hit back terming it as misleading tactics to divert attention from real issues, including misappropriation of donations in Ram mandir, NEET paper leaks. BJP's Himachal unit on Wednesday had constituted a state-level committee to draft a "chargesheet" exposing the Congress government's alleged anti-people policies, unfulfilled promises, corruption and administrative failures, and a public movement to demand accountability will be launched. It also formed a mass agitation committee to run public campaign. Hitting back, state Congress president Vinay Kumar, said on Thursday that no matter how many committees the BJP forms against the Congress under the guise of a "mass movement," the public will no longer be swayed by its misleading tactics. "Beset by serious allegations of corruption, the BJP is making a futile attempt to divert public attention. The BJP should first confess to the crimes involving the NEET paper leak and the theft of thousands of crores in donations meant for the Ram Mandir. It must summon the courage to publicly name the leaders involved in this corruption," said Vinay, in a press statement issued on Thursday. Vinay added that the Congress's district-level protests against the central BJP government regarding the NEET paper leak and the Ram Mandir donation loot have been successful; now, in the second phase, party leaders and workers across all blocks are set to launch a campaign against this corruption....
