Jammu, Sept. 15 -- The Crime Branch, Jammu, has filed a chargesheet before a court against a couple in a fraudulent land deal worth Rs.16.50 lakh, officials said on Monday. Complainant Anjan Bhola had alleged that Rahul Dasgotra represented himself as the owner of land in Patyari (Bhatyari) village, Bishnah, so he transferred Rs.16.50 lakh into an account of a firm owned by Sneha Verma.Verification of revenue records revealed that Khasra No. 1152, on the basis of which the land transaction had been represented, did not exist in Patyari village.
