Shimla, Aug. 31 -- The Himachal Apple Producers Association had demanded that the dues of farmers under the Market Mediation Scheme (MIS) of apples and other fruits should be paid immediately. State committee member apple growers association Himachal Pradesh, Sanjay Chauhan, in a statement said the government had started the process of payment for apples and other fruits in March and it was decided to first pay the farmers who had given up to 30 bags and then it was decided to pay the farmers who had given up to 100 bags.
