Shimla, Sept. 15 -- The state government has issued an order for the posting of 194 medical officers following completion of their postgraduate courses and senior residency tenures. According to an order issued by the department of health and family welfare, of the total 194 medical officers, 118 specialists have been given regular postings as general duty officers at various civil hospitals, community health centres, regional hospitals, zonal hospitals and medical colleges across Himachal Pradesh. In a separate category, 76 medical officers, including direct and all India quota candidates, have been engaged as job trainees under a temporary stopgap arrangement for an initial period of one year.
