Dharamshala, Sept. 9 -- Days after BJP MP from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut, lashed at the officials during District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting in Mandi, the Himachal Pradesh Block Development Officers Association has said that officers should be addressed in a respectful and dignified manner. Objecting to the language and manner allegedly used by the Mandi MP, the association said it fully supports accountability and review by elected representatives but maintained that officers should be addressed in a respectful and dignified manner. It said the remarks had affected the morale of BDOs.
